Setup: GPRS
Following are the instructions to activate GPRS on your phone:
| Step 1 | Ensure your handset is compatible with GPRS Handset Features. |

| Step 2 | Contact us to ensure that you have a GPRS number active. |
| Step 3 | If you have purchased your handset through Optus, the handset should come pre-provisioned with settings on. To activate these settings, please follow the instructions in this guide, see your phone’s Manufacturer Guide, or Contact us. You can also choose to have settings directly sent to your handset via our Configure Mobile page, or if you have a PDA please see Configure PDA. |

Cancellation
To cancel your GPRS \ Data service Contact us.
Please note: When you cancel your GPRS\Data service on your account, your MMS service will also be deactivated. If you wish to only deactivate your GPRS service such that you are unable to access the service from your handset, simply have the handset settings for WAP removed.
