The Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband service is supplied in accordance with the terms of the Optus Mobile Internet Standard Form of Agreement. To use the service you need to credit your pre-paid account in advance and recharge the service as the current credit is used up. You will not be sent any bills, invoices or statements. You must comply with these terms including our Acceptable Use Policy (Appendix H) when using the service. The Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Internet service is a Pre-Paid Broadband Internet service and provides access to the Internet and related services. The service provides a connection to the Internet via the Optus Mobile 3G or dual band networks. The service is only available for use with an Optus supplied Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband SIM card and a wireless data modem. The Optus supplied wireless data modem is a USB modem. You may use your own wireless data modem if it is approved for use on the Optus 3G or dual band network. Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband service may only be used as a data service. You must meet the minimum system requirements as per the Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband packaging to connect to the service. Subject to your rights under the Trade Practices Act, Optus does not make any warranty regarding the software or data provided to you as it operates on your computer and interacts with your other applications. Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband application shows approximate usage only. Modem is compatible with the MAC computers OS 10.4 or above.
Usage: The first 30MB of usage per day will be charged at 10MB. Usage after this will be counted in 10MB increments and includes both uploads and downloads. $30, $40, $50 Vouchers expire 30 days from activation, $70, $100 Vouchers expire 60 days from activation. $80 and $130 vouchers expire 186 days from activation. Maximum data allowance is 10GB. If you recharge over this amount, you will forfeit any data over the 10GB limit. If you require additional SMS messages, you must purchase either another recharge voucher or a text saver voucher. Included standard SMS can only be sent to Australian GSM Mobile or Mobile Broadband services. 1 SMS = 160 characters.
Pre-Paid Optus Connect N' Go Recharge Vouchers
Purchase a recharge voucher via credit card online at www.optus.com.au/recharge to receive an additional 15% bonus data allowance. E.g. $30 gets you up to 1.15GB data allowance. $15 recharge voucher will be counted at $1.02 per 10MB to give you 500MB and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 75MB bonus data with a 15 days expiry and 50 free standard national SMS. $30 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 1GB of data and 15 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 150MB bonus data with a 30 days expiry; $40 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 2GB of data and 20 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 300MB bonus data with a 30 days expiry; $50 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 3GB of data and 25 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 450MB bonus data with a 30 days expiry; $70 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 4GB of data and 35 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 600MB bonus data with a 60 days expiry; $100 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 6GB of data and 50 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 900MB bonus data with a 60 days expiry. $80 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 4GB of data and 100 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 600MB bonus data with a 186 days expiry; $130 Recharge Voucher will give you up to 8GB of data and 100 free standard national SMS and if you purchase the recharge online you will also receive up to 1.2GB bonus data with a 186 days expiry.

Minimum total cost over 12 months for Optus Mobile Broadband (OWB) My Wireless 15 ($15 per month with $99 USB modem, 1 month free access and free delivery) is $264; or My Wireless 25 ($25 per month with $99 USB modem, 1 Month free monthly access and free delivery) is $374; or My Wireless 35 ($35 per month with $99 USB modem, 1 month free access and free delivery) is $484; or My Wireless 55 ($55 per month with $99 USB modem, 1 month free access and free delivery) is $704. Included data on the My Wireless 15, 25, 35 and 55 plans is reduced by 50% after 12 months. 1 Month Free Access offer is available to new Optus Mobile Broadband customers signing up between 19/11/09 and 1/08/10 to a My Wireless plan (excluding the My Wireless 199 plan) for 12 or 24 months as applicable to the selected plan via the Optus online page at www.optus.com.au/wireless and is not available through other sales channels. If you exceed your plans included data allowance excess usage charged at $0.06 per MB or part thereof. If you select the My Wireless 199 you will not be able to change to an alternate plan during your contract. If you select the My Wireless 199 plan, you will receive 1GB per month for 12 months, total 12GB. After 12 months you will be move to a $15 per month plan which includes 1GB of data for use per month. All applicants are subject to Optus credit assessment and acceptance. The Optus Mobile Broadband service is supplied in accordance with the terms of the Optus Mobile broadband Standard Form of Agreement and Acceptable Usage Policy. The Optus Wireless internet service is a Broadband internet service and provides access to the internet and related services. The service provides a connection to the Internet via the Optus dual band (900/2100MHz) network. You may also use the service to connect to the internet outside of Optus dual band areas, within Optus GSM network areas, however where only GSM coverage is available you will not experience broadband speeds. The service is not available in all areas and not available in NT and TAS and is subject to network availability. Refer www.optus.com.au/coverage for more details. ‘yes’ Coverage Commitment (YCC): If coverage is not to your satisfaction, you will need to contact us within 7 days of activation to cancel your service. no cancellation fees will apply. You will only be charged for your usage, pro-rated access fees and device charges if applicable. You will need to return the device at your own cost. Optus will send you a letter instructing you how to return the device, which you must return within 14 days of the issue date of the letter to avoid equipment charges. Cancellation: If you cancel your service before the end of the agreed contract term you may incur a cancellation fee as follows; on a My Wireless 15, 25, 35, 55 plan on a 12 month contract: 0-6 months a fixed cancellation fee of $200.00, 7-9 months 70% ($140.00) and 10-12 months 40% ($80.00) of the cancellation fee plus any remaining device replacements, if applicable; on a My Wireless 199 plan on a 12 month contract: 0-6 months a fixed cancellation fee of $245.00, 7-9 months 70% ($171.50) and 10-12 months 40% ($98.00) of the cancellation fee plus any remaining device replacements, if applicable; on a My Wireless 5GB plan on a 24 month contract: 0-12 months a fixed cancellation fee of $245.00, 13-15 months 80% ($196.00), 16-18 months 60% ($147.00) 19 – 21 months 40% ($98.00) and 22-24 months 20% ($49.00) of the cancellation fee plus any remaining device replacements, if applicable.
