Terms & Conditions
Cap BYO Plans: Existing customers must demonstrate that over the three continuous months prior to applying they had an average monthly spend equal to at least the monthly access fee of the relevant Cap plan. Customers connecting to this plan must either bring their own mobile phone or purchase a mobile phone under a mobile equipment payment plan. Plans are available as 12 month plans only. Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time. You may change BYO Options once per bill cycle. Changes between BYO options will be pro-rated from the date the change occurs. To change between BYO Options you can call Optus Customer Service on 133 937. If you exceed any of the included values, standard rates of your plan will apply. Cap BYO plans are available for new or eligible existing customers who pass the Optus credit assessment and are accepted by Optus. You will pay a minimum “Plan” amount per month of standard national voice calls, standard national SMS and MMS, International SMS, national video calls, VoiceMail, PTT, national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers each billing period. You will pay this minimum “Cap plan” value per month even if you do not make that amount worth of calls. For the first part month, you will pay only part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only part of the included cap value and Included Mobile Internet Data Value. Included Data Value includes a set amount of data per month to access services on Optus Zoo or Optus iZoo, browsing the Internet from your mobile as well as using your mobile as a modem. If you exceed the included monthly data allowance, excess usage charges will apply at $0.50 per MB for the $19 Extreme Cap Plan and $29 Extreme Cap Plan, and $0.25 per MB for the $49 Extreme Cap Plan, $59 Extreme Cap Plan, and $79 Extreme Cap Plan. Additional Internet Value (BYO
Option): you will get additional internet value per month to access
the Internet from your iPhone. Internet access from a compatible handset is

Twitter. Usage of these services is separate and it does not count towards your
included “Mobile Internet Data Value.” These features are only available to you
if your handset is compatible with the service. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy
applies. Facebook® is a registered trademark of Facebook® Inc. Usage of the
Facebook® SMS alert service or any other social media alert service are not
included as part of the service and will be charged separately.
Timeless Plan BYO Bonus: is only
available to approved new and existing customers when they bring their own
mobile phone or purchase a mobile phone from us under a mobile equipment
payment plan and connect to the plan for 12 months. Customers eligible for BYO
Bonus will receive a $10 Monthly Credit for the $99 Timeless plan, a $15
Monthly Credit for the $115 Timeless plan, and a $20 Monthly Credit for the
Timeless Plan. At the end of the 12 months term the BYO Bonus will expire. To
continue to receive the BYO Bonus you will be required to recontract for a
further 12 months. If you exceed any of the included values, standard rates of
your plan will apply. This amount cannot be refunded, redeemed for cash, rolled
over or applied for another purpose, even if the service is cancelled. For the
$99 Timeless plan, your monthly access fee will be $89 and the minimum total
cost is $1068, for the $115 Timeless Plan, your monthly access fee will be $100
and the minimum total cost is $1200, and for the $129 Timeless plan, the
monthly access fee will be $109 and the minimum total cost is $1308. If you
choose to purchase a mobile phone under a mobile equipment payment plan these
payments will be additional to the minimum total cost. If your access fee is
pro-rated in any given month then the monthly credit will also be
pro-rated.
Included International Value:
You will receive $40 of included International Value on the $115 Timeless Plan
and $100 of included International Value on the $129 Timeless Plan. The
International Value includes International Voice Calls, SMS, and MMS. The
International Value excludes all other usage types including international
roaming and data used while roaming. Any unused portion of the International
Value expires at the end of each bill cycle. Standard rates apply for usage

Unlimited BlackBerry POP3 Email and
BlackBerry Browsing: includes unlimited use of BlackBerry POP3 email,
use of the BlackBerry Browser and/or Internet Browser, applications from Optus
and third party applications that require a BlackBerry Data connection. Use of
the WAP browser and international data roaming usage are specifically excluded
from the usage allowance.
Cap Plan BYO Options: At the end
of the 12 months term the selected BYO Option will expire unless you recontract
for a further 12 months. Any unused portion of the selected BYO Option expires
at the end of each bill cycle.
