Direct Debit Fee: A $2.20 (inc GST) per month fee may apply if account
is not paid by direct debit.
Paper Invoice Fee: Online billing will be phased in over time
and may not be available to you immediately. If we have advised you that online
billing is available to you and you still choose to have a paper bill posted to
you, you will be charged a paper invoice fee of $2.20. If online billing is not
available to you, we won’t charge you the fee. Optus will advise you of the
availability of online billing before any fee is charged. For further

Credit Card Fee: If you use a credit, charge or debit card to pay
your bill, a 1.0% fee (inc GST) will be charged. This payment processing fee
will be shown on your next Optus bill after the payment has been processed.
Exemptions may apply.
Australia Post: If you pay your account at an Australia Post outlet,
you will be charged an account processing fee of $0.55 (inc GST). From 1 May
2010 the fee for bill payments made via Australia Post will increase from $0.55
to $1.30. To avoid this fee, use an electronic payment option, such as Direct
Debit or BPAY® to pay from a cheque or savings account.
Single Bill: Optus reserves the right to move one or more of your
services onto a single bill. If your services are on a single bill, it may not
be possible to obtain individual bills. A fee may apply if you change your plan
before the end of your minimum term. Installation charges may apply. Fee
applies if you do not transfer your existing number to Optus and may also apply
when you switch from your current provider.
Cancellation: A $199 pro-rata cancellation fee applies if the
customer cancels either their local and/or long distance service within the
initial 12 month agreement period.
WorldSaver plans can be added or removed at anytime without impacting the
Home Cap agreement (only one change per month allowed). Calls will be charged
at the applicable WorldSaver rate after the included is reached.
Included value expires at the end of each month and cannot be redeemed for
cash. Normal call charges apply after the included value is reached. Included
value excludes: International calls (not applicable on Home Mega Cap plan),
19XX calls, calls to MobileSat, Directory Assistance, Operator Service calls,
Equipment charges and Home Phone services such as VoiceMail subscription and
retrievals and calls made over another carrier’s network (e.g. using an
override code); standard rates apply to these call types. The service is not to
be used for commercial purposes. Optus Local & Long Distance Fair Go TM
policy applies
PensionSaver discount: Eligible customers will receive 10% off the bill per
month, up to $15 Inc GST. Discount excludes paper bill fees, financial services
fees, bill reprint fees and accrued charges from previous bill.
Calculating time of call: The charging rate of a call is calculated based on
the starting time of the call. This may not be the same as the local time at
the place from which the call is made.
General: Not available with any other promotional offers except ‘yes’
rewards. ‘yes’ rewards terms and conditions apply. Installation fees may apply
to your phone line. If you have or are planning to get a monitored service
installed, please advise the Optus Technician at the time of the install. Early
disconnection fees apply ($199 pro rata for Optus Local or Long Distance
